Sr Mary O'Sullivan Celebrates 90th Birthday

25th January was a special day for Sr Mary O’Sullivan who celebrated her 90th birthday. Mary was surrounded by her sister Vonnie, her brother Pat, her in-laws, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews together with her Ursuline sisters. All gathered at Duhig Village Holland Park Qld where Mary is a resident for the celebration.

There was much sharing among the guests about different aspects of Mary’s life and the contribution she made to education, her time in leadership and as tertian directress.

Mary’s sister Vonnie shared some lovely stories of tricks, games and companionship and how she remembered Mary as a ten year old girl when Mary left home to enter the Ursulines.

Mary was delighted with the celebration and said it was one of the best birthday celebrations she had had in all her 90 years
